Learning Support

Our vision

We strive to ensure that all students access a full, rich curriculum in an inclusive learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially and emotionally, by:

  • Identifying and supporting students with SEND as early as possible.

  • Providing high-quality teaching and targeted interventions.

  • Working in partnership with parents, carers, and external professionals.

  • Promoting independence and resilience in all learners.

  • Ensuring every student has access to a broad and balanced curriculum.

Students with SEND at The Norwood School are supported by a dedicated team, led by the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENCo).
